The futuristic concept is called Canvas and is supposed to provide a better quality for the designer and also it’s said that it will raise the productive rate of the artist. The laptop will feature a very thin touchscreen and the other components will look just about the same but they will be better adjusted. Posted March 31, 2008 – 10:24 am in: DellRecent reports say that Dell is preparing to replace the D830 and the D630 with a new series of Latitude E laptops. The new models are E6500 with a 15.4 inch display and the E6400, a 14.1 incher. The leaked laptops are scheduled for release in June and it’s also said that these lappies will be the first to make use of Montevina / Centrino 2 machines. The 6500 is supposed to feature integrated GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, mobile broadband, UWP, LED back-lighting, 84WHr batteries and some multiple options for the disk drives. read more »

The 2go sports an Intel Celeron M Processor, a 915GMS graphics chipset, 512MB of RAM with the option to upgrade to 1GB, 40GB HDD, 800×480 9-inch LCD, 802.11b/g WiFi, SD / MMC memory card reader and full option of jacks and ports.

Posted March 31, 2008 – 10:22 am in: Asus eee pcASUS made an official announcement about the next generation of Eee PC of which we already know that is going to feature an 8.9 inch display. What we didn’t know about it, is that the Eee PC is going to be a touchscreen. The 8.9 incher will be available as of May or June and will come in 8GB up to 12GB options and it will have a $500 starting price. For May, ASUS also plains to start shipping an Eee Desktop called E-DT and it will cost $200. In the same statement it is said that the Eee PC might support GPS which makes us to anxiously wait for it. read more »

Even with six speakers, the laptop isn’t capable of true surround sound, since that requires speakers on either side of the listener at ear level. Some current laptops use two speakers to simulate the enveloping experience of surround sound. Acer’s laptop will do the same, but the simulation is better with six speakers than with two.
Acer Inc., the Taiwanese computer maker that bought Gateway last year, said on Tuesday that it now aims to take laptop users as close as they can get to the high-definition home theater experience. read more » No Comments | Tags:
