Asus begins phasing out old netbook keyboard design
Posted April 9, 2009 – 2:55 pm in: AsusThe Asus Eee PC 1000HE is the aboriginal netbook from Asus to use the new “chiclet†appearance keyboard. But it won’t be the last. At CES in January, I was told that Asus affairs to use the new keyboard blueprint on all of its accessible netbooks. Apparently that aswell extends to absolute models that are still in production.
Portable Monkey apparent that Asus is now architecture the Eee PC 1000HA with the new chiclet keyboard. The 1000HA has been about for a few months, and it’s basically identical to the Eee PC 1000H except it doesn’t accept 802.11n or Bluetooth. And now it has a newer keyboard architecture with the about-face key on the appropriate ancillary of the keyboard to the larboard of the up arrow. The keys are aswell flatter, with added amplitude amid keys authoritative it a little easier for blow typists to acquisition the actual keys with their fingers.
