How to: Installing Windows XP on Toshiba a210 series laptops.

Before start to windows xp installation ;

  1. Make a xp cd which can recognize sata hdd ( How to make it?)
  2. Download Service pack 2. Download Service pack 2 English, Download other languages.
  3. Download drivers and put them your computers d disk.
  4. Start your computer from cd/dvd. If you dont know how to set it please read this page.

Steps;

  1. Install xp with your sata capable windows xp cd..
  2. Install service pack 2.
  3. Intall windows xp drivers.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!

    I have a Toshiba EQUIUM A210 and i’m trying to install windows XP professional with service pack 2 onto it, but i can’t get the system to boot from the cd as the BIOS won’t let me change the boot order, i tried starting it from the DVD drive with the system running but setup blocks the install due to compatibility issues, does anyone know of a way to install it?, I’m in desperate need as i need to have XP installed so i can study the MCDST which requires windows Xp.
