How to: Installing Windows XP on HP Compaq 6720s series Notebook.

- Make a xp cd which can recognize sata hdd ( How to make it?)
- Download Service pack 2. Download Service pack 2 English, Download other languages.
- Download drivers and put them your computers d disk.
- Start your computer from cd/dvd. If you dont know how to set it please read this page.
Steps;
- Install xp with your sata capable windows xp cd..
- Install service pack 2.
- Intall windows xp drivers.
Drivers:
If you want to install all drivers in one step use this file. Zip pass is “www.notebook.gen.tr”

Then, you gotta open your “Device Manager” and watch “System Devices”, it will appear some “PCI Device” with a warning(?) mark, right-click, upload the drivers, let Windows find them alone (not via Windows Update, just local). When Windows catch the drivers, the bus is finally recognized.

I have a problem making the SATA capable Xp Cd
1.In the XP source Will i put real xp cd to the cd drive and then copy all files on dektop
2.when im finished whit the Nlite program would i put the Xp files to Empty disk or the original
3.when i boot whit optikal disk it will not go to the install setup

the solution to this problem is easy, believe me
disable native sata in bios and you can install win xp

I tried to disable native sata in bios, still got stuck at the same spot during installation. I hope this works…
I have my 6720s also working with XP no sata change the stetting in the bios so the HDD is compatable with IDE HDD and the normal XP install CD will work.
Is it somehow possible to integrate the drivers witch you are supposed to install after you install XP in to the XP boot-disk?
I reinstall the XP but my bluetooth device is not to be found in HP compaq 6720s.. when i install the drivers it say that there is no bluetooth device. but it worked previously can anyone help me on this
I’ve this notebook, but when I try to install winXP, every time it give the same critical error… I’ve tried to disable SATA on BIOS, and to follow this guide, but the result is the seme: Critical Error.
The error report:

I have installed XP SP3 on it.(SP3 has drivers to detect SATA HDD so this step is trouble free).
I downloaded the drivers for m/c from :

My Machine is running fine except I can not use my Cable Net which I was able to use when Vista was installed.
Also I could not Install software like Oracle.
Got some Error related to Network Adaptor.
Same is the case for Internet.
Can Some body Guide me with the reason why this is happening and How can I get over this Problem.

After installing drivers for my laptop hp compaq 6720s, its showing error in device management,and display message as “the drivers for this device are not installed(Code 28)”,what i should do for fixing this or which driver i need to install for fixing this error.
