How to: Installing Windows XP on HP Compaq 6720s series Notebook.

Before start to windows xp installation ;

  1. Make a xp cd which can recognize sata hdd ( How to make it?)
  2. Download Service pack 2. Download Service pack 2 English, Download other languages.
  3. Download drivers and put them your computers d disk.
  4. Start your computer from cd/dvd. If you dont know how to set it please read this page.

Steps;

  1. Install xp with your sata capable windows xp cd..
  2. Install service pack 2.
  3. Intall windows xp drivers.

Drivers:

If you want to install all drivers in one step use this file. Zip pass is “www.notebook.gen.tr”

HP Compaq 6720s windows Xp drivers auto install download

  3. HP Compaq 6720s notebook xp audio driver setup;

    Download auidio patch and audio driver. Install audio patch firstly. Install audio driver. Then, you gotta open your “Device Manager” and watch “System Devices”, it will appear some “PCI Device” with a warning(?) mark, right-click, upload the drivers, let Windows find them alone (not via Windows Update, just local). When Windows catch the drivers, the bus is finally recognized.

  3. I have a problem making the SATA capable Xp Cd

    1.In the XP source Will i put real xp cd to the cd drive and then copy all files on dektop

    2.when im finished whit the Nlite program would i put the Xp files to Empty disk or the original
