How to: Installing Windows XP on Acer 5315 Notebook and all windows xp drivers.

Before start to installation ;

  1. Make a xp cd which can recognize sata hdd ( How to make it?)
  2. Download Service pack 2. Download Service pack 2 English, Download other languages.
  3. Download drivers and put them your computers d disk.
  4. Start your computer from cd/dvd. If you dont know how to set it please read this page.

Steps;

  1. Install xp with your sata capable windows xp cd..
  2. Install service pack 2.
  3. Intall windows xp drivers.

Drivers;
Install drivers with this order for your own good.

  1. Acer 5315 notebook mainboard chipset xp driver download.
  2. Acer 5315 notebook vga - graphic card xp driver download.
  3. Acer 5315 notebook xp audio driver setup;
    Download auidio patch and audio driver. Install audio patch firstly. Install audio driver. Then, you gotta open your “Device Manager” and watch “System Devices”, it will appear some “PCI Device” with a warning(?) mark, right-click, upload the drivers, let Windows find them alone (not via Windows Update, just local).   4. Acer 5315 notebook xp modem driver download.1. Click on your “START” menu
    2. Right click on “My Computer”
    3. Click on “Properties”
    4. Click on the “Hardware” tab at the top
    5. Click on “Device Manager”
    6. Right click on “Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus”
    7. Click on “Update Driver…”
    8. Click on “No, not this time.” Click Next.
    9. Click on “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced).” Click Next
    10. Click on “Don’t Search. I will choose the driver to install.” Click Next.
    11. In the list on the “Hardware Type” page, highlight “Modems”. You may have to scroll down. Click Next.
    12. Click on “Have Disk…”
    13. Click on “Browse” and navigate to where you extracted the Agere Modem drivers. Highlight the “agrmdv32″ file and click Open. Click OK.
    14. Highlight Agere Systems HDA Modem. Click Next.
    15. Click Yes on the “Update Driver Warning” dialog.
