How to install Realtek audio driver on your notebook.

How to install Realtek audio driver on your notebook.

As you know installing audio driver is not very easy. Most of time you cant here any voice from your notebook.

If you have a notebook which use realtek audio card please follow my intructions.

  1. Download and install Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio driver.
  2. Download and install Realtek audio driver. You can see an error message. Just ignore it and continue.
  3. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
  4. Right click on “Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus” and click Update driver.
  5. Select “Install from a list or specific location”
  6. Click Next. Then select “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install”
  7. Click Next and then select “Sound, video and game controller” from the list.
  8. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
  9. Click Browse and show C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\InstallShield folder.
  10. Click ok. After that restart your computer.
  11. Download and install Realtek HD Audio Hotfix (zip pass is www.notebook.gen.tr)
    UPDATE: If you installed windows sp3 you must install Universal Audio Architecture High Definition Audio AddOn 1.0 for sp3

    help the realtek hd audio hotfix password doesnt match….
    ive tried to type and copy paste the text …
    its still says password error…
    help..

    zip pass is “www.notebook.gen.tr”

    i can’t download realtek audio driver,it demands password which i can’t see here

    how I can install it on XP SP3? Realtek HD Audio Hotfix is something for XP SP3, but it isn’t installer… How I can install it?
